What to Expect

Your First Visit

Our primary goal during your first visit is to make your physical therapy experience as comfortable and informative as possible. The initial visit will typically last between 60-90 minutes and will include a complete health history and a comprehensive physical therapy evaluation. If physical therapy is appropriate, your therapist will provide you with an explanation of your condition, offer treatment options and provide a brief initial treatment. We will take the time to ensure that all of your questions have been fully addressed.

Personalized & Evidence Informed Care

PT Now prides itself on providing treatments that are designed to fulfill your specific needs and are supported by the most current research and treatment options available. Our goal is to provide you with the best possible care. Your therapist will discuss all of the physical therapy treatment options available to you and make recommendations, however ultimately it is your decision on which treatments you receive.

Communication With Your Physician

Following your physical therapy initial evaluation, your therapist will communicate with your family physician or the doctor of your preference regarding the findings of your case. If additional communication is necessary to ensure your health, your therapist will personally call your physician to discuss your case.

At the conclusion of your first visit you will speak with a member of front office to create a treatment schedule that easily fits into your lifestyle.

Physical therapy follow up treatments usually are 60-90 minutes unless otherwise specified by your therapist. The total duration of your treatment plan will be based on your specific condition and needs.
